Expressing
What sup! Welcome back to the logs. Today we're going to talk about expressing — based on the context you have, which you want to give out to some one. If you came from the last article, you might be thinking I'm gonna talk about how to express in a way that can improve your career, I would say it might be helpful but that's not what to expect in today's talk. So I'm not going to give you a specific way to express, instead of sharing why I think the ways of expressing are beautiful and special.
Based on the context, your feeling
There are a lot of ways to express what's in your mind. Somebody likes painting, somebody likes writing. For me, I love all kinds of ways to express my own thoughts, such as music, photos and words. Or they all come together to be a video or a podcast.
I think the way you express it doesn't really matter that much. In my point of view, if you express in a way that makes you fulfilled and on the point, I think that's enough.
Let's say you have a really great story that you want to tell. You can literally express it in basically any way. You can transform it into an instrumental piece or a painting to tell it. Different ways have different feelings, and different ways give out different context — even if it's the same thing. Furthermore, based on this statement, the same context for a different person may be another whole different story.
What and how do you want to tell
I love this video which is about reviewing an interview of Take-Two's CEO Strauss Zelnick (yes, Primeagen again, I love this guy). I like these two phrases in the interview.
In 3 years technology exists prior to AI to clone GTA. But it won't be GTA. It'll be a clone of GTA. Clones don't sell.
All hits are by their very nature, unexpected.
I think the statement is pretty true from the point of view of a big company or an ambitious person who wants to make a big hit on the market. You definitely need to put a lot of time and thought into making a unique masterpiece. No doubt it's very difficult.
What I wanted to say in this section is how you want to present the stories from your mind, instead of following other people's thoughts or AI suggestions.
Like GTA is a way to express maybe the world where you can do whatever you want like in the real world. Which I think is hard to think about before GTA came out — the concept is so unique, and we only talk about the whole piece; there're still a lot of details in it.
Yeah, that's today's content, I think this one is kinda (it is) scattered and drifted off from the last one. So, just treat it like a bedtime story.
