Why do we always want more on everything? Money, love, fame, ideas things like that. But I don't wanna discuss what makes us act like that. Instead, I want to talk about the part that I think is dangerous from my point of view.

Sky is the limit

I think setting the floor is a lot easier than setting the ceiling. Just think about it, it's easy to find what you don't want. But in contrast, it's kinda hard to say what you "really" want by intuition.

It's like the phrase "Sky is the limit"(although is usually means nothing can stop you). This is the part that I think is always underestimated. The reason is — it feels like you're chasing an endless loop, and it never ends. So you keep running and running, until you drain yourself out. Maybe more tragically, die on the path and never go back.

So, I think the balance between what you want and satisfaction is quite important(you can still expand it when you reach it), like the previous article I posted which was talking about harmony. The balance prevents you from draining yourself out completely, and also keep you headed toward what you want.
